Description
Phantom Body Replacement Packs are used for the replacement of used phantom bodies and associated tubing components of the circulation path.
Each replacement pack is assigned to a defined vessel tree type and contains a specified set of phantom bodies and tubing components.
Phantom Body Features
Depending on the vessel tree design, phantom bodies may feature the following characteristics:
Terminal Capillary Structure (TCS Protect)
TCS Protect represents a functional barrier when using liquid embolic materials and prevents the unintended migration of embolic material into the venous outflow tract.
Skill Branch
A skill branch is a defined side branch from the central vessel. It can be regarded as an individual training task and serves for the targeted practice of navigation and material delivery.
Available Vessel Tree Types
Vessel Tree Type VT01 – Large vessels with aneurysms
Scope of delivery: three phantom bodies (VT01), one inlet tube, three outlet tubes with integrated filters.
Vessel Tree Type VT02 – Fusiform and sacciform aneurysms
Scope of delivery: three phantom bodies (VT02), one inlet tube, three outlet tubes with integrated filters.
Vessel Tree Type VT03 – Stylized small vessels
Scope of delivery: three phantom bodies (VT03), one inlet tube, three outlet tubes with integrated filters.
Vessel Tree Type VT04 – Multiple fusiform and sacciform aneurysms
Scope of delivery: three phantom bodies (VT04), one inlet tube, three outlet tubes with integrated filters.
Vessel Tree Type VT05 – Small vessels resembling a vascular malformation
Scope of delivery: three phantom bodies (VT05), one inlet tube, three outlet tubes with integrated filters.
Applications and Use Cases
Phantom Body Replacement Packs serve for the replacement of used phantom bodies, the adaptation of the AmoVip 200 Phantom System to different training scenarios, and repeated practical endovascular training.
The products are unsterile and not intended for medical or clinical use.
